Blue Door Smokehouse was started in March of 2013 by two Lexington natives.  They had a simple goal of producing the best barbeque in the city and coupling that with warm, friendly, fun, and efficient service.  For us, consistency is key, and we work hard every day to ensure that our product is the same high quality as it was on your last visit.  Over the years, we quickly grew out of our tiny original location and began the search for the next place to call home.  Currently, Jeff Newman is the sole owner and he is excited to welcome you to the new Blue
