About Us

Blue Door Smokehouse was started in March of 2013 with the goal of serving the city of Lexington and her visitors great bbq with great service.  11 years later and that goal still remains part of the daily mission.  For us, consistency is key, and executing our objectives is a central theme of our daily work life.  We smoke fresh every day, without exception, and serve that freshly smoked meat as quickly and efficiently as possible.  As a group, we like to have fun, and we aim to have that positive attitude spill in to the dining room.  After 10 years in our original location, we decided to move to a bigger space and we couldn't be happier.  Jeff Newman and team are proud to come in and serve our guests every day, and feel blessed that the phone keeps ringing, and you all keep walking through that signature Blue Door!
